Welsh gin brand, Cygnet craft distillery have launched a collaboration with renowned charity Welsh Women’s Aid today.
Marking International Women’s Day and celebrating the 2020 hashtag #IWD2020 #EachforEqual, the premium and heritage Distillery, located in Swansea, have launched a collaboration where £1 of every single product sold online will go towards helping the charity further their crucial fundraising to end all forms of violence against women.
Head of Commercial and branding for the Welsh Gin distillery, Robyn Lee said:
“It was really important for us to give something back this year to mark International Women’s Day. We’re a local distillery, right in the heart of South Wales and it’s important for us to be able to utilise and exercise corporate social responsibly as and where we can.”
Robyn continues noting the charitable work that Welsh Women’s Aid do;
“As a company in Wales, we’ve noted the hard work that goes into the upkeep and fund-raising of an incredibly important charity such as Welsh Women’s Aid; they provide life changing services to survivors of violence and abuse – women, men, children and families via the Live Fear Free Helpline and network of specialist services across Wales. We saw International Women’s Day as the perfect platform to launch this collaboration and we hope it not only raises money, but awareness. And the platform for more people to be able to access help when they need it most.”
Cygnet will donate £1 from every product purchased on the online store until at least Easter 2020.
