Celebrating Three Years since the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015

Celebrating Three Years since the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Act

 Hosted by Jane Hutt AM

26 April 2018, 3-5pm, The Oriel, Senedd, National Assembly for Wales, Cardiff Bay

You are invited to an event that will celebrate three years since the introduction of the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015.

The VAWDASV Act was a landmark piece of legislation, breaking new ground as the first law of its kind in the UK and Europe. It seeks to address violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence through improved collective public sector response, stronger leadership and a more consistent focus on the way we tackle these issues in Wales.

This event will be a chance for everyone to come together to recognise the achievements of the Act, the steps we have made so far and the work ahead.
