Co-production: Championing Youth Voices across the VAWDASV Sector

Welsh Women’s Aid (WWA) are inviting you to attend our upcoming event which will focus on championing youth voices across the VAWDASV sector.

With an introduction from Rocio Cifuentes, the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, this free online webinar will feature presentations from a range of guest speakers. The speakers will each discuss how they incorporate co-production into practice whilst embodying the strengths-based, trauma-informed and needs-led principles which underpin Welsh Women’s Aid’s Change That Lasts Approach. The Change That Lasts approach is also aligned with the five principles of a Wales Trauma Informed Approach.

We will also be joined by a survivor with lived experience who will discuss their experiences of the sector and how co-production with young survivors can benefit both them and the professionals that work with them. Following the webinar, there will be an opportunity for an interactive Q&A session.

If you are involved with decision making, policy making or working with Children in Wales and would like to learn more about how the VAWDASV sector engage with children and young people in a meaningful way, in line with the Change That Lasts approach, this event is suitable for you.
