Olympic fun

Are you counting down the days until the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony? Are you itching to get involved and raise money for Welsh Women’s Aid at the same time? Then take a look at our Olympics-related ideas below!

Get your friends, family and colleagues involved for the ultimate summer of sport!

Sweepstake

Organise an Olympics sweepstake and see who can predict the country to win the most gold medals. Or you can ask participants to randomly select an Olympic event, and the winner will be the person whose event claims the most Team GB medals. Take a look at all 45 events to choose from here!

Office Olympics

Take on the office Olympics and go for gold in desk chair racing, rubber band archery, pencil javelin and more! What better way to spend an afternoon at the office. We can even supply the winner with a Welsh Women’s Aid certificate they can display proudly on their desk.

Olympics quiz

If you’re planning on watching the opening or closing ceremony with friends, why not add in an Olympics related quiz to see who the true expert is.

Tasty Olympics treats

Now you’ve finished your quiz, it’s time for a delicious celebration. Some tasty ideas are torch cupcakes, gold medal cookies, Team GB cakes or even attempt the Olympics Rings!

Take part in your own event

Fancy joining in for the summer of sport? You can take part in an event or create your own challenge. Maybe you want to walk a mile each day the Olympics is on? Perhaps you want to make it more of challenge and skip a mile each day instead?

Whatever you want to take on, we’re here to help! We can even provide you with Welsh Women’s Aid resources to help raise awareness and promote discussion. Get in touch with our fundraising team today – [email protected].

All donations can be made directly to us via our donation page. Or you can set up a fundraising page for a quick and easy way to collect all your fundraising together in one place. You can create your page on JustGiving or on our very own fundraising hub, Raisely.
