In 2018, Welsh Women’s Aid will celebrate its 40th anniversary. We want to use this as an opportunity to commemorate the history, value, and impact of the women’s sector in Wales during the past 40 years, and ensure that this heritage is not lost to future generations.
During 2018, potentially with the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, we hope to work across Wales gathering as much important information as possible, ensuring that it can be saved and made available to all. Information could include oral histories, stories, and experiences; documents such as reports, newsletters, or magazines; photographs; and other materials created at any time over the past 40 years.
